It is with tremendous sadness that we must unfortunately announce that Björn 'Nitrobear' Mårtensson is no longer with us by the consequences of a myocardial infarction. We light our candles & give our thoughts to Björn's family! Of course, for the team, this is an incredibly emotional & sorrowful tragedy.
Rest in peace Björn.

Björns entire family would like to thank everyone for their condolences in conjunction with Björn's premature and sudden passing away.
We are stunned by grief because it is so unbelievably unfair that someone so full of life is suddenly and brutally just pulled away from us.
Getting to know all the tributes, memories and stories so many of you have kept warm in your innermost consolation in the midst of this new, overwhelming unreal reality we are now forced to live on.
We all have so many warm memories of who Björn was as a person and in every way he touched us, memories we cherish dearly and stick to forever.
We want to thank Björn's team for everything, team is a far too weak word to describe them with, it was beyond enough commitment on races, in the garage and any day of the week.
Björn's team was a family, a team through absolutley everything, because if something good happened it would be shared and if something bad happened it would be dealt with, treated and repaired just like with the Top Fuel car.
In all this tragedy, the team has been available around the clock if we ever need to talk, so you are worth your weight in gold.
